We are getting closer to the release of Minecraft 1.16.0, as evidenced by the launch of the beta version Minecraft 1.16.0.60 for Android. This update includes a few fixes—13 in total—but it suggests that the official release may be imminent!

What has been fixed in Minecraft 1.16.0.60?

• Some graphical issues in Minecraft Pocket Edition have been addressed.
• A bug that caused the game to crash when players attempted to purchase coins without logging into Xbox Live has been resolved.
• The game will no longer crash when trying to create a world using the “ZigZag” resource pack.
• The Fancy Leaves option now displays correctly in the settings for Minecraft on Windows 10.
• Improvements have been made to the updating of cubic maps when textures are changed.
• The fonts will no longer disappear when exiting the main menu in MCPE.
• The issue with the flickering username above the player’s head has been resolved.
• A bug causing spam in the log has been fixed.
• The /kill command now functions correctly with NPCs.
• The default font for chat has been set to Mojangles.
• The loading bar and thumbnail loading have also been corrected. 

The fixes in version 1.16.0.60 are relatively minor, so it is reasonable to assume that the official release will be available soon!
