New Mobs on Android
In terms of new content, the bees are back, now functioning without any bugs. These fluffy insects can be found in areas abundant with blooming plants. Therefore, it makes sense to search for them in various meadows in Minecraft Bedrock Edition and forests. Bees will be beneficial for players engaged in gardening within the game. As they fly over saplings, there is a small chance they will drop a nectar droplet, which acts as a fertilizer for crops. This boosts their growth and increases yield, so it’s best not to chase the bees away in the garden.
This creature resides in hives. They spawn on their own, but you can lift and relocate them to a desired spot on the map. In the full version of MCBE 1.14.30, this could be your home or the surrounding area.
- Hives are crafted from honeycombs and planks, and can be collected using a tool enchanted with silk touch
- Up to three individuals can coexist in the nests, and they store honey inside
- Honey block – a decorative item made from honeycombs
- Honey block – crafted from honey bottles, reduces jump height and player movement speed (as they say, something got sticky)
- In the mobile release, sugar can be crafted from these bottles, and the contents can be consumed to boost saturation and hunger levels
- Bees reproduce using flowers
- If you attack one, the entire swarm will pursue you
