Temple by the River [0.13.x]

If you’re looking for an easy way to locate a Temple in the desert, here’s a fantastic option for you! Right at the spawn point, you’ll find a Temple filled with treasures hidden deep beneath it. Retrieving them is quite simple!

Just 10-15 blocks away from your spawn location lies an incredible desert Temple that partially sits over a river. Enter the Temple and break the colored blocks on the floor located at its center. Once you do this, you’ll uncover some treasures. Before descending to collect the treasures, make sure you avoid stepping on the button embedded in the ground.

If you accidentally step on the button, you’ve triggered a death sentence! If the button activates, the entire dungeon will explode as the pressure plate sets off the TNT located underneath the floor.

In the chests, you will discover the following items:

• 8 gold ingots.
• 4 iron ingots.
• 7 bones.
• 14 rotten flesh.

This is an amazing seed because right from the start of the game, you’ll see a Temple where you can claim the treasures stored within. Additionally, there are many different biomes nearby featuring stunning landscapes (deserts, savannas, flat terrains, forests). Simply choose which biome you’d like to continue your adventure in after collecting the treasures from the Temple.
