On the official Mojang website, Marsh Davis expressed gratitude to all players of Minecraft Pocket Edition who participated in the alpha testing of the new feature in Minecraft PE, specifically Realms. Over 700,000 MCPE players had the chance to try out this new functionality in MCPE, and the developers at Mojang are thankful for their involvement.
For those unaware, with the Realms technology, your friends will be able to join your game; however, after the release of 0.15.0, access to Realms will require a subscription. It’s important to note that this type of server is secure, allowing you and your friends to enjoy gameplay together.
Still, before entering single-player mode, you’ll need to log into your Xbox Live account—many find this inconvenient, but it remains a necessary step to access the game.
We hope that by the end of May, Mojang will continue beta testing for 0.15.0, and we can soon look forward to Minecraft PE 0.15.0 build 3!
