Since the end of last year, we’ve been rolling out a new default texture pack for Java Edition Minecraft. At every stage, we’ve sought input from the community, specifically YOU! We appreciate your feedback and have worked diligently to incorporate all the fantastic ideas you shared regarding Minecraft PE.
Finally, we are excited to present what we’ve created thanks to your insights. Our team has come together to develop a texture version that we believe will be well-received by all players of MCPE, without a doubt!
In fact, we’re so confident in these textures that they will soon be available in versions 1.12 and 1.13! Once they’re ready, you can expect to see these textures added to Minecraft Pocket Edition very shortly!

The new textures not only create a true paradise within Minecraft Pocket Edition, adding exciting dynamics to your world, but they also offer another advantage: they are compatible with the popular .PCX format—one of the most widely used standards in DOS visualization!
