Warm summer days have arrived. The sun envelops us in its warmth and affection. I believe it’s the perfect moment to reminisce about winter and Christmas projects, as one must prepare their sleigh during the summer, right? I absolutely adore New Year’s – it is the most magnificent and heartfelt celebration. Whether you indulge in a feast that matches your weight or doze off by the fireplace only to wake up with slightly charred socks, you’ll undoubtedly feel quite exhausted on this day. And even if you think you’ve wrapped everything up, you’ll inevitably find a handful of confetti on the floor, leaving you very disappointed!
If I lived in a mansion, perhaps I wouldn’t view New Year’s as something burdensome. Just imagine such a wonder: music playing in every room, a massive tree in the living room, and some gardener, if given enough cash, would surely adorn your home with tinsel and garlands.
Unfortunately, I don’t own a mansion, so I have to settle for less. If I did have my own house, it would definitely resemble the abode of Gemini Tay in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition.
“I don’t actually possess a mansion,” notes Gemini, “but that certainly doesn’t mean we lack candles, candies, garlands, or snowmen to decorate our homes.”
It can be confidently stated that the project meets nearly all criteria for Christmas. There are tall pines, gentle snowfall, and of course, candy canes. What would New Year’s be without them?
The build was inspired by the author’s creative impulses. “I simply spread snow across the ground and envisioned what I wanted to see in this creation. I imagined what it would be like if the fountain froze and the flowers vanished.” 
When the earth was blanketed in a cold layer of snow, extensive work went into the decorations. Just look at these snowmen! A plethora of variations with exquisite detailing.
Now let’s move on to the archway at the entrance, topped with an archer. The archer has donned a Santa hat, and the arch itself is adorned with numerous garlands. Surprisingly, the project doesn’t come off as overly festive. “I aimed to retain the original essence of the project while infusing it with a touch of winter love.” 
Walk through the arch in Minecraft PE and you’ll find yourself at the frozen fountain. At the entrance are candy canes, trees draped in tinsel, and a grand mansion at the center. Don’t forget to admire the candles and garlands inside the house – they look stunning too!
One could boldly assert that the centerpiece of the entire project isn’t even the mansion but rather a gigantic Christmas tree located right in the middle. Beneath the tree lies a multitude of gifts. It must be quite challenging to recreate a tree in Minecraft PE, requiring plenty of creativity. To ensure the star atop doesn’t appear as just a large yellow square, one might need to sell their soul to the devil. No doubt about it.
“If you’re aiming to replicate intricate details in your build, you must be prepared to make them larger. For this reason, I had to add such a big tree that doesn’t adhere to any scale. But it became the central and foundational element of the project from which I drew inspiration,” shares the author.
“It’s also worth noting that the holiday theme was incorporated into a new building design. I had to reconstruct most blocks to introduce more festive elements!”
“You may consider it a significant mistake, but revising and reworking your creations is a laborious task. However, it makes you much more perceptive and helps you understand the direction you should take and where to start working. Moreover, you can always return to your previous build, enhance it, and incorporate special features.”
A simple plan from our builder: Find your old project. Completely rebuild your house. Make sure your tree defies all proportions. Then, add snowmen. Lots of snowmen. But what about gameplay tips? “Engage in what you love and know that achieving great results right from the start is impossible.”
