This modification introduces client-side tracking capabilities for shulker boxes that you place and break.
Where Did My Shulker Go?
The “Where Is My Shulker?” mod ensures you can easily keep track of every shulker box you establish or dismantle in your Minecraft world, eliminating the need to scour your surroundings in a frantic search for your prized possessions. It incorporates a straightforward command to manage the tracked information.
✨ Key Features
- Monitors all placed and removed shulker boxes
- Records the following details:
- Location
- Custom name (if assigned)
- Shulker box color
- Provides on-demand access to the list of currently placed shulker boxes
- Includes pagination support for lengthy lists
- Easy command to clear the list
- Saves data in CSV format
📜 Command List
/shulker
This command displays all currently placed shulker boxes, showing:
- Custom name or box color
- Coordinates of the box
- Color of the box
The output is neatly organized with pagination, if needed.
/shulker clear
This command removes all shulker boxes without names or colors from the list.
/shulker clearall
This command erases all tracked shulker boxes from the list.
💾 Data Storage Information
All collected data is stored in a CSV file format. For Singleplayer modes, the file path is /data/shulker_boxes.csv. In Multiplayer environments, shulker box data can be found in .minecraft/.whereismyshulker/_/shulker_boxes.csv.
📝 Important Notes
- Only shulker boxes that a player breaks are removed from tracking; actions such as explosions or piston movements are not recorded.
- Despite thorough searches for an existing solution to this common issue, I found no satisfactory answers. Old posts on Reddit from years ago reflected the same query, indicating this problem remains largely unresolved. Hence, I took it upon myself to create this mod, as I frequently encounter missing shulker boxes.
