Are you finding the typical death mechanics in Minecraft monotonous? Whether you think respawning is too easy or feel that Hardcore mode is overly challenging, the Minicore mod offers a solution. It introduces a versatile lives system to your Minecraft experience, accommodating various playstyles.
Outstanding Features
- Upon exhausting all lives, players transform into ghosts. These ghosts can observe the game environment, load chunks, and even possess living players to bestow helpful buffs.
- You can resurrect a fallen teammate by crafting a Soul Charm and dropping it nearby. A ghost that touches the Soul Charm will return to life with a predetermined number of lives.
- Lost lives can be regained through a Life Jam. Players can restore as many lives as they wish, within the maximum limit set in the configuration.

Customization Options
Minicore comes equipped with a comprehensive settings menu, easily accessible by entering /function minicore:_settings.
Lives Configuration
- Max Lives – Determine how many lives each player will have. Options include 1, 3, or 5 lives.
- Name Colors – When enabled, player names will feature colors based on the number of lives they possess.
- Lives Displayed in Tab List – If activated, the number of lives each player has will show up in the tab list.
- Lives upon Revival – Choose how many lives players receive upon being revived: 1 life, half of their max lives, or their full complement of max lives.
- Soul Charm – When this feature is disabled, players will not be able to craft Soul Charms, and they will disassemble into their crafting components when dropped.
- Life Jam – When turned off, players will be unable to craft Life Jams, which will fragment into their recipe components when consumed.
- Soul Charm Debuffs – Enabling this option means that players will incur certain debuffs for 5 minutes upon crafting a Soul Charm, and 1 minute when revived.
