The mod “Walking Armor Stands” for Minecraft Pocket Edition introduces two new features related to armor stands, which are a fresh addition in version 1.2 of Minecraft. Firstly, you can make your armor move around you, or you can control them using a stick. The second feature allows your walking armor to transform into “infants,” meaning they will be significantly smaller than regular stands.
How does it work?
Stand next to an armor item and tap the ground. A standard armor stand will simply remain stationary, providing protection. However, this is not an ordinary armor! This add-on for Minecraft PE will enable the armor to move around like a mob. If you hold a stick, you can command the armor to either stay put or follow you.
Installing Walking Armor Stands (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- For the world, enable the imported:
— Add-on Packs. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Walking Armor Stands (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “Walking Armor Stands” folder from the archive.
- Move the “Walking Armor Stands” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Enable the add-on you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder for the selected world.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
