Vanilla+ Weapons

The mod «Vanilla+ Weapons [1.12+] (Vanilla + Weapons)» introduces a total of 25 new weapon types and 5 material variants for each in Minecraft.

Among the additions are the swift Dagger and Katana, which instantly boost your speed upon use. There’s also a weapon called the Sai, resembling a trident, which can be crafted without the need for expensive materials, yet it delivers a formidable attack. Lastly, there are scythes and battle axes that, while heavy, inflict an astonishing amount of damage.

Now, let’s go through the details step by step.

Daggers. Their damage from attacks is half that of a traditional sword of the same kind. When wielding one, you will achieve a speed of 2, although this does not function as a potion effect.

Sais. The damage they inflict is equivalent to that of daggers. Their slower attack speed is balanced by a relatively long durability, meaning they can be used for an extended period.

Katanas. The attack damage is one point lower than that of similar weapons. For instance, an iron katana will deal 5 points of damage, whereas an iron sword will deal 6 points. Additionally, katanas provide a speed boost, though not as significant as that of daggers.

Scythes. The blades of this weapon type are indeed quite heavy, which will reduce your character’s speed. However, this weight is justified by the amount of damage dealt, which surpasses that of a standard sword.

Battle Axes. These large weapons significantly slow you down, but, similar to the previous item, they offer a considerable increase in damage. Additionally, the durability of a battle axe is unmatched by any other weapon. A diamond battle axe can eliminate most standard mobs with a single strike in Minecraft Bedrock.

• Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” from below.
• Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into Minecraft.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
• For your world, apply the imported:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Add-on Packs.
• Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
• It is advisable to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterwards.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world Minecraft, and enjoy the add-on!
