The Minecraft Community has recently announced the addition of a new mob to the game, and on November 18 (during Minecon Earth), you will have the opportunity to vote for your favorite. This mod presents four potential options for you to consider. Aside from some sketches released by the Minecraft community, there is very little information available about the new mobs for MCPE. This means that the developer of this mod had limited details to work with when creating these mob concepts.
Mobs
Titan Squid: This mob replaces squids in Minecraft PE and only spawns in water. Essentially, it is a mutated and more powerful version of the squid. Due to limitations in behavior pack knowledge, not much can be done to alter its actions. However, it does possess an interesting ability: it inflicts slowness on anyone who attacks it in MCPE.
Thing: It doesn’t look too bad, does it? But don’t let appearances deceive you. Once one appears in Minecraft PE, there will be four more. Each time a “Thing” spawns, there is a 50% chance it will summon four additional ones.
These creatures are hostile and apply a levitation effect that lasts five seconds. This isn’t ideal, as it gives them enough time to regroup beneath you and attack immediately after you fall back to the ground.
The Thing replaces pigs and can be found in most biomes of Minecraft Pocket Edition.
Ray: This mob resembles a stingray, and its abilities are quite similar. For instance, it will inflict blindness for 30 seconds on anyone daring enough to attack it. This likely simulates the effect of being stung by this aquatic creature in Minecraft Pocket Edition.
It replaces chickens, meaning you can only find it spawning on land within the world of Minecraft PE. The only way to encounter them in water is to spawn them there yourself.
King Blaze: This mob replaces witches in MCPE. It is arguably the most dangerous of the four presented mobs, as it can summon four blazes and shoot fireballs rapidly. However, it has a weakness: water.

Voting
On November 18, you will be able to vote for which mob you would like to see permanently added to Minecraft PE! Keep in mind that all the mobs presented are merely ideas created in an amateur concept style based on sketches provided by the official community. No one knows how these mobs will actually appear in the game yet.
