With the mod titled “Seas and Oceans“, the underwater realm of Minecraft will introduce over 50 new inhabitants! Each of these creatures is inspired by real-life animals and features a unique spawning system. All the newly added marine life can be found near Asia. The creators of the mod aimed to develop a realistic behavior package, prioritizing functionality over textures.
Features:
- Animals can become pregnant or lay eggs.
- The gestation/incubation period has been calculated individually for each species, based on data from real animals. 20 minutes of gameplay equates to one year of an animal’s life.
- Most animals engage in hunting, and if desired, you can disable this feature in the settings of Minecraft by turning off “Natural Spawning.”
- Some species have sleep modes.
- There is a wide variety of custom items, recipes, trophies, and more.
