If you’re looking to elevate your gameplay with a unique twist, downloading the Resurrections mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition (MCPE) might just be the adventure you need. This innovative mod introduces an exciting mechanism that allows players to revive after a fall in battle, turning defeat into a thrilling second chance.

Introducing the Resurrections Mod

The Resurrections mod was primarily designed for a hardcore multiplayer server I managed. Its exciting feature allows players to come back to life after they perish by dropping their essence, known as the Soul. This Soul can be used at a special device designed for revivals, making the gameplay even more engaging.

Key Features of the Mod

New Blocks

This mod adds an essential block to the game: the Resurrecting Station. By following a specific crafting recipe, players can create this station which serves as the heart of the resurrection process.

Unique Items

The only item introduced by this mod is the Soul. Upon a player’s death, their Soul drops and can be utilized for revival. It’s important to note that this Soul will gradually decay while it remains in the game world, inventory, or other storage areas, so players need to act swiftly!

The Resurrection Process

Reviving a fallen player is straightforward. After crafting your Resurrecting Station, simply use the Soul at the station to initiate the revival process. However, beware: the Souls decay even while placed at the station, but you can monitor the percentage of time left for the revival.

While the Soul resides in the Resurrecting Station, you have the option to use certain items (config details are coming soon) to restore the soul’s integrity. Different items provide varying degrees of repair, and there are limits to how many of each item can be applied. Once the Soul is fully repaired, the player will be revived, and the original Soul item will be consumed in the process.

Future Enhancements

The current version of the mod isn’t entirely complete, and there are several enhancements planned for the future, including:

• Extensive configuration options for various aspects of the mod
• Additional resurrection features, with an exciting new variant set to debut in version 1.2+
• A new realm centered around the concept of Souls upon reaching 100 downloads!
• And some mysterious features that will be revealed later—stay tuned!

Important Notes

This is my very first public mod, and I recognize that it may contain a few bugs! Also, note that player data related to the Soul is captured within a component of the item, which allows for possible command spawning of players if necessary.
