The developers of Minecraft have consistently aimed to maintain the Nether in its original form. However, the creator of the mod titled NETHER ROOF BEGONE! (Remove the Roof of the Nether) has successfully identified a flaw in the game’s code. He managed to eliminate the hellish blocks that restricted access beyond the Nether, allowing you to explore freely!
To clarify the functionality of the mod, let me explain. In the Nether, there is only one biome—hell; no matter what adjustments you make in the settings of Minecraft, altering the hell biome is impossible. However, there are alternative methods to create custom structures. The developer of the mod discovered a bug in the code and modified just one element, which enabled the alteration of base materials.
It’s likely that future updates will refine the code, rendering the mod nonfunctional. Nevertheless, we remain hopeful that the developers will take it upon themselves to revamp the Nether by incorporating custom ores and structures.
Before activating the mod, make sure to enable experimental gameplay.
