In Minecraft Pocket Edition, players often desire a peaceful experience without the interruptions from aggressive mobs like zombies or skeletons. The mod called Neutralism for MCPE alters the behavior of many in-game creatures, turning most hostile mobs into neutral ones. (What are neutral mobs? These are entities that won’t attack you unless provoked, meaning you have to hit them first).
This modification is sure to enhance your gaming experience, as there’s little enjoyment in defeating weak hostile mobs.
Behavior Changes
The Neutralism mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition will reduce the aggression levels of hostile mobs significantly. Which mobs are affected by these changes? Here’s a list:
- Blaze
- Ghast
- Creeper
- Wither Skeleton
- Zombie
- Silverfish
- Zombified Villager
- Enderman
- Magma Cube
- Witch
- Slime
- Spider
- Cave Spider
- Wither
Now, you can stroll past these mobs peacefully and even take pictures with them:
But that’s not all; besides making hostile mobs neutral, the Neutralism mod also affects friendly mobs! What does this mean? For instance, cows can now become dangerous targets, as attacking one may summon an entire herd!
Let’s look at the list of friendly animals in Minecraft Pocket Edition that will now be neutral:
- Adult Pig
- Adult Cow
- Rabbit
- Skeleton Horse
- Bat
- Chicken
- Mushroom Cow
- Sheep
- Squid
It’s important to note that after these changes in MCPE, you won’t be able to ride enraged donkeys, mules, or horses if you’ve attacked them! So please treat your pets kindly 😉
Additionally, we haven’t mentioned the following remaining mobs:
- Wild Wolf
- Wild Ocelot
These animals cannot find food if they are made neutral, which would lead to their demise. That’s just how our beloved game Minecraft PE works.
Here are a few notes from the mod creator for Minecraft Pocket Edition:
- You can ride an angry pig.
- Guardians in underwater temples haven’t been made neutral yet due to their strange behavior. Be cautious!
