NerdCraft 2 is a technical mod that introduces generators, machines, electric tools, and new ores into the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition.
Two out of three newly added machines are designed for producing dust and ingots necessary for crafting new electric tools. The third machine serves to recharge these new electric tools. Although the mod may seem complex at first glance, acquiring ores and creating tools is quite straightforward.
Machines
Currently, there are three types of machines that can be crafted and then utilized to produce dust and ingots. One of the machines is specifically used for charging the new electric tools introduced in Minecraft Pocket Edition alongside the NerdCraft 2 mod. This new set of electric tools is quite powerful, based on real-world counterparts, and obtaining them can be challenging!
Generators:
There are four distinct types of generators, each with its own fuel type. Generators are essential for powering any machines.
Crusher:
The crusher is utilized for generating various types of dust and ores. Dust is essential for producing ingots.
Place the grinder and any generator closely together as shown in the image below. Additionally, two chests should be placed above each block. Ensure that the chests face different directions since each chest must operate independently with each active block. Use a wrench to rotate the grinder if needed.
Before proceeding further, tap the grinder with an empty hand to activate it (no message will appear).
In this case, we are using a coal generator. It is the least efficient generator but works well for this example. Fill the chest located above the generator with the required fuel (more details on this later). In our case, regular coal or charcoal will suffice.
The coal will start burning immediately.
Open the chest previously placed above the Grinder, and fill it with the necessary ores to obtain dust from them. In our example, we used copper ore, but the grinder works with all types of ores. (If you do not see dust in the chest, close it and then reopen it)
Copper ore and Tin ore generate randomly underground at level 30 blocks.
Thus, the Grinder can be used to produce virtually any type of dust.
Energy Factory:
The energy factory is employed to create various types of ingots through smelting previously obtained dust.
Start by placing the energy factory next to the generator. In this example, we used a pyro generator. Also, place chests on top of the two blocks as illustrated in the image below (the chests should face opposite directions so they are not connected).
If necessary, use a wrench to change the direction (rotate) the energy factory. Tap the energy factory with your hand to activate it.
Open the chest above the pyro generator and fill it with fuel. In our case, we are using the pyro generator, which requires blaze rods to function.
Open the electric factory’s chest and fill it with copper dust obtained earlier using the grinder (you can also fill it with any other type of dust). The dust will slowly transform into copper ingots. You can collect the finished ingots from the electric factory’s chest.
Charging Station:
The charging station is used to charge all electric tools that have been added and are utilized within the mod. More information about the tools can be found later.
Setting up the machine is similar to the installation of the previously described machines. Simply place the charging station next to the generator. In this example, we used the Ender reactor. Then, place two chests on top of the machines facing opposite sides relative to each other.
Use a wrench to rotate the machine if necessary.
Fill the generator with the required power source; in our case, we are using the Ender reactor, which functions similarly to any other generator and requires ender pearls to operate.
Place the electric tools in the charging station’s chest to recharge those tools.
