NBS Extensions

Important Information:

This is my initial mod, so please manage your expectations.

Currently, the mod replicates functionalities from the discontinued Recode mod. I’m open to suggestions for additional features not related to Diamondfire; feel free to propose ideas in our Discord community or contribute via GitHub.

Installation Instructions:

[!] This mod requires .nbs files that can be obtained from Noteblock World.

• Start the game with the mod enabled.
• Move your .nbs files into the NBS songs directory located at /NBSE/NBS Files/.
• When in Creative Mode, utilize the command /nbs gui to access your songs.

Features Offered:

• /nbs load Imports songs formatted similar to those in Recode.
• /nbs load_custom Imports songs using raw pitch values defined as key + fine pitch multiplied by 1000.
• /nbs gui Provides an experimental graphical user interface for song importation.
• /nbs player Grants access to a basic NBS player for playback of NBS files.

Upcoming Features:

• The GUI will display more detailed information regarding each song file.
• Introduction of a Configuration Menu.
• Possibly, a Client-Side player to preview songs while minimizing noteblock latency.

2. Implement changes that could enhance the mod.

It has primarily been just me and RedVortex developing this mod, and any code suggestions would significantly aid in advancing its capabilities. You’re welcome to infuse your unique style into the existing components, such as adjustments to the user interface.
