More Jockeys

Mod “More Jockeys (Additional Jockeys)” significantly enhances the spawn rate of jockeys in Minecraft Pocket Edition, introducing new combinations that were previously unavailable. Hostile mobs, such as creepers, will mount animals they encounter before attacking players in MCPE. This does not provide an advantage to players, as riding other creatures greatly boosts the offensive capabilities of these hostile entities.

How Does the More Jockeys Mod Work?

Jockeys (also known as hostile mobs capable of riding other animals) appear much more frequently within the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition. Additionally, there are numerous new mobs that did not ride animals before, including creepers and zombies.

The newly introduced jockeys will only ride on other mobs when they detect a player. Therefore, you need to switch to survival mode if you wish to witness the mod in action.

• Creepers ride on animals and zombies
• Zombified piglins ride on pigs
• Skeletons ride on animals and zombies
• Witches ride on animals and zombies
• Zombies ride on animals
• Endermen ride on animals
• Occasionally, skeletons, creepers, and witches can ride on zombies even while the zombie is mounted on another mob
• Villagers and witches ride on horses and mooshrooms
• Zombies and husks ride on horses, mules, and donkeys
• Skeletons, strays, and wither skeletons ride on sheep
• Illagers and evokers ride on llamas

This makes them considerably more dangerous in Minecraft PE, as their ability to ride others allows for rapid attacks.

There are also some additional adjustments regarding mob spawns.

Installing More Jockeys (.mcpack)

• Download the mod labeled — “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the addon/resource pack into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
• Set the imported options for your world:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Addons.
• Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing More Jockeys (.zip)

• Download this mod below.
• Extract two folders from the archive.
• Move the folder “MoreJockey_behavior_pack” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
• Move the folder “MoreJockey_resource_pack” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ directory.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Assign the selected world the resource pack and addon that you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
