Discover the captivating “Habitable End Mod” for MCPE, a modification that breathes new life into the otherwise desolate End dimension. This mod introduces an array of exciting features such as unique leaf types, a variant of iron ore, and a brand-new fruit reminiscent of traditional apples. While the mod is in development, it promises a fresh gameplay experience in Minecraft.
Initially, this mod started as a fabric mod, marking a significant step in the creator’s journey. Although some English translations are available, not all text has been converted yet. As part of the Habitable End data pack, this mod incorporates Endrus leaves that emit a light level of 15. Admittedly, the texture work has room for improvement, but updates are continually being made to enhance the visual experience.
Utilizing the latest “Habitable End Mod Snapshot,” compatible with Minecraft version 1.19.4, is recommended. Due to certain update challenges, the release schedule may experience delays. As the mod evolves, expect additional features to be included, though there is currently no toggle option for these new elements.
Among the exciting additions are End temples crafted from Endrus wood, which also boasts a light level of 15. Players will discover trees and iron ore embedded within the Endstone, enriching the landscape and providing new resources. These updates are designed for snapshots that follow version 1.19.4.
Look for Warped Endrus trees situated in the End Highlands, along with saplings obtainable from temple chests and trees. Plant them on Endstone to cultivate your own resources. Prototype Endite tools are in the pipeline, promising to add depth to crafting and gameplay mechanics. Additional enhancements, such as saplings, will showcase this new feature.
The mod also offers a Netherite smithing template and ingots as loot found in End cities. Furthermore, players can craft Endite tools and armor, which boast stats equivalent to double that of Netherite items. Upgrading from Netherite requires the use of Endite ingots and a specific template, which can be crafted using iron ingots and Endite shards. Breading Enderbara with Endrus fruit adds further variety to in-game food options.
Enhanced crafting stations, such as lecterns, crafting tables, fletching tables, composters, ladders, cartography tables, and barrels, are included, all crafted from the new wood type. While these elements are being reintroduced, players should anticipate potential bugs and minor issues as development continues.
