The mod «More Blocks (Additional Blocks)» introduces 52 new blocks, including cut wooden blocks and various decorative options in Minecraft Pocket Edition. The best part is that it does not replace any existing blocks in MCPE. This is a fantastic mod for those looking to refresh their building experience with new decorative ideas in their Minecraft PE worlds. Some of the included blocks feature diamonds, emeralds, and beautifully crafted wooden designs.
How does the More Blocks mod work?
Two new types of villagers have been introduced: Carpenters and Woodworkers.
- The Carpenter sells new types of planks (which can be placed on any block where planks are allowed)
- The Woodworker offers decorative blocks (which can only be placed on grass, dirt, or flower pots)
- The Engineer provides decorative blocks (can be placed on any block)
- The Mason sells decorative stone blocks and carved concrete blocks (can be placed on any block)
Trading with them is quite similar to trading with other villagers. Villagers seek something in exchange for their intricately designed wooden blocks.
A total of 56 new blocks are available, all perfectly suited for decorative use in the world of Minecraft PE.
Here are the blocks sold by the Engineer and the Mason.
The carved concrete blocks are offered by the Mason.
How was this made possible?
In Minecraft Pocket Edition, there are several blocks with more data than what is utilized in the game. You can assign custom textures to these unused blocks without affecting any of the blocks already present in the game.
Besides purchasing new blocks from villagers, you can also acquire them in MCPE using special commands. New blocks will not appear in the creative mode inventory.
