Do you ever feel like some blocks in Minecraft seem to have been designed in the 20th century? Perhaps you’re looking for something more contemporary? The mod titled Modern Architecture introduces 50 new building blocks, including terracotta bricks, colored planks, diorite, andesite, granite bricks, glowing concrete, limestone, and marble.
Terracotta Bricks
Terracotta bricks are crafted from four blocks of colored terracotta, available in all 16 shades. There are also mixed bricks made from red, orange, brown, and white terracotta.
Glowing Concrete
Glowing concrete is sufficiently bright to deter unwanted mobs from approaching it. It is crafted using 8 concrete blocks surrounding a piece of glowstone dust. Additionally, it comes in all 16 colors.
Colored Planks
These are colored planks. They are made using paint and simple boards. You can dye them in any color available in Minecraft.
Enhanced Bricks
Granite, diorite, andesite, sandstone, and red sandstone are now of higher quality.
Marble and Limestone
