The mod “The Grinch” introduces the Christmas thief into Minecraft. Alongside him, you’ll also get Max the dog and festive gifts. This mod is compatible only with version 1.9.0.3 and above.
The Grinch
The Grinch spawns in all biomes of the Minecraft Bedrock world. If you approach him within a few blocks, he will attack you.
- Health: 20 points.
- Attack: 4.5.
- Drops cookies as loot.
Grinch (Santa Claus Version)
The Grinch-Santa Claus is a friendlier incarnation. Unlike the original Grinch, this version does not attack players who approach him; in fact, he can be tamed using mushroom soup. Once tamed, the Grinch will follow you around, ensuring that no one harms you.
- Health: 75 points.
- Attack: 9.
- Drops cookies as loot.
Max
Max, much like his owner, roams across the entire world. He can be tamed using eggs, and once tamed, he will protect you from foes. Before taming:
- Health: 45.
- Damage: 9.
After taming:
- Health: 45.
- Damage: 9.
- Follows the player.
- Defends against enemies.
Gifts
A variety of gifts in five different colors are scattered throughout the world. By breaking them, you will receive useful items.
Installing The Grinch (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into Minecraft.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported options for the world:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-on Packs. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world Minecraft, and enjoy the add-on!
