Meteors Mod introduces 9 unique types of meteors to the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will descend from the sky and disrupt the terrain of Minecraft PE. The meteor falls and meteor showers can be disabled using simple text commands. This mod undoubtedly adds a sense of fear as you realize that a massive piece of extraterrestrial material could unexpectedly crash down on you. Additionally, meteors bring with them a wealth of valuable metals composed within.
How does it work?
Enter the following command to summon a random type of meteor: /met start
From that moment on, meteors will randomly begin to fall from the sky. You will receive notifications in your chat about the movement of the meteor.
In this instance, we can observe how the Monster Meteor has struck the ground. This caused a massive explosion, and hundreds of blocks of lava are pouring out from the meteor. Meteors carry many precious metals such as gold, iron, emeralds, and other valuable resources.
To disable the broadcast of meteor falls and the falling meteors themselves, use the following text command: /met end.
What types of meteors exist?
There are 9 different meteors that can be generated randomly in the Minecraft Pocket Edition world when you have the command enabled: /met start. However, you can also use items to generate meteors yourself.
Let’s now take a look at each meteor, their capabilities, and what they consist of.
Regular Meteor:
There is only one standard meteor that typically falls to the ground. It comes in two sizes: small and medium. Usually, there are some metal parts and other interesting resources within the meteor that need to be explored. In our case, the meteor contains lava, coal, and iron ore.
Snowy Meteor:
The snowy meteor poses little danger to the world since it is relatively small and consists mainly of packed ice and snow.
Fiery Meteor:
The fiery meteor is more exciting than the regular meteor because inside it, you can find gold, iron, coal, and lava upon exploration.
Monster Meteor:
This meteor is the most dangerous among its predecessors. It is a gigantic meteor containing numerous ores and deadly liquid – lava.
Glowing Meteor:
This is one of the rarest meteors, varying from small to medium sizes. This type of meteor consists solely of glowstone.
Nether Meteor:
The Nether meteor comprises all the blocks found in the Nether: quartz, soul sand, netherrack, and lava.
End Meteor:
The End meteor contains a lot of obsidian and end stone. This meteor poses less danger compared to others and lacks any life-threatening lava.
Artificial Meteor:
This meteor primarily consists of debris. It was created by aliens from unwanted items. This is quite a rare meteor that you might encounter.
Royal Meteor:
Be cautious – this is one of the largest meteors that exists. It is an enormous meteor, and generating it may take some time. This meteor contains numerous ores including gold, diamonds, and iron. It also includes regular stone, obsidian, and other resources.
Mini-Meteors:
Mini-meteors are perhaps one of the most amusing phenomena in the game. These meteors are very small (tiny), making them hard to notice. When mini-meteors hit the ground, they also cause destruction but on a smaller scale.
Fiery Mini-Meteors:
Fiery mini-meteors do not significantly impact the destruction of the terrain; they merely ignite the ground for a short period until the temperature of the fallen meteor decreases.
Available Commands:
- /met start – activates random meteor appearances in the atmosphere and enables meteor broadcasts in the chat.
- /met end – disables the aforementioned features.
- /met spawn on/off – toggles random meteor appearances.
- /met broadcast on/off – toggles meteor broadcasting in the chat.
- /met create – generates a random meteor nearby.
- /met storm – initiates a meteor shower.
