A fictional creature from the Final Fantasy game series, known as Chocobo, will make its appearance in the Minecraft Pocket Edition world after you install the mod titled Chocobos. Chocobo is a large bird that resembles both a chicken and an ostrich. You can tame it and ride on its back. In the MCPE world, Chocobo is incredibly fast and is immune to fall damage. Plus, it looks fantastic and comes in seven different colors!
How Does It Work?
Chocobo is a friendly creature that can be found in most biomes of the Minecraft PE world, as it replaces the pig. You can tame a Chocobo by feeding it some Gysahl, a food item that acts as a substitute for carrots. Carrot crops have also been replaced by it.
The primary and very useful feature of using Chocobo in Minecraft PE is riding it. It is very fast and is the perfect animal for quickly getting away from a location.
- iOS / Android: Long press on the animal with a saddle. Then long press again to ride it.
- Windows 10: Right-click on the animal with a saddle. Then right-click again to mount it.
Chocobo can jump much higher than a horse in Minecraft Pocket Edition and takes no damage from falls.
Chainmail has been replaced with Chocobo armor. The only difference is the appearance.
Chocobos are very friendly and resemble horses, meaning they will never attack anyone, including hostile mobs in the MCPE world.
If your Chocobo takes damage, feed it a small amount of Gysahl to heal it.
Bring two Chocobos close together, feed them Gysahl, and soon they will start to breed.
