Mod featuring the script “Kill/Death Counter” will introduce two targets on the scoreboard. One represents the death count, while the other tracks kills. The script will automatically update for Minecraft Bedrock as needed.
To display either counter, type the following in chat:
- Death Counter: /scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar DeathCount
- Kills Counter: /scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar KillCount
Note: Only one counter can be displayed at a time in standard mode of Minecraft. However, their counts will continue to update even when not visible in-game.
The death counter functions similarly to that in Java Edition. When a player dies, the score on the board increases by 1 point.
Unfortunately, due to certain limitations with current scripting capabilities, the kill counter only works when an entity is killed in melee combat.
