How does it work?
This mod enables you to live like a squid. After acquiring squid-like traits, you can remain above water for about 25 seconds before needing to gasp for air and potentially suffocate. 
Now, your only safe breathing space is underwater. As shown in the screenshot below, there are no breathing bubbles above your health bar because water is where you feel most comfortable and secure.
Choosing an aquatic lifestyle makes survival in Minecraft PE significantly easier since hostile mobs cannot reach you due to their inability to swim. This forces you to stay near the water’s surface while remaining safely submerged in your new habitat.
