The mod «Five Heart Survival» enhances the survival experience in Minecraft Pocket Edition by reducing your standard health from 10 hearts to just 5. The health of certain mobs within the MCPE world will also be decreased, ensuring that you can complete all game aspects without facing impossible challenges. If you’re looking to elevate your survival mode in Minecraft PE, this mod is an excellent choice.
How does it work?
Upon entering the MCPE world (and switching to survival mode if you were previously in creative), you’ll notice that your health bar now only displays five hearts. This is the most obvious change, but there are additional modifications as well.
Here’s a comprehensive list of what has been altered:
- Health reduced to 5 hearts
- Skeletons wield wooden swords
- Wither health halved
- Ghast attack range shortened
- Player attack damage increased
Beware of monsters! Although their damage remains unchanged, you must exercise extra caution since your health has been significantly reduced!
If you’re not careful in Minecraft Pocket Edition (as I unfortunately was), you may find yourself meeting an untimely demise.
Installing Five Heart Survival (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled with “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Apply the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Five Heart Survival (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the folder named “Five Heart Survival” from the archive.
- Move the “Five Heart Survival” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world to use the add-on you moved earlier to the behavior_packs folder.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and have fun playing!
