The mod “Demon Pets” introduces five brand new demons in Minecraft Bedrock, all of which are friendly towards players and can be tamed to serve as pets. They are also quite powerful. Each demon has the ability to fly and possesses a unique ranged attack that allows it to shoot projectiles at enemies in Minecraft. For instance, some can launch fireballs, while others can shoot arrows.
How does it work?
There are five distinct demons, none of which replace existing mobs in Minecraft Bedrock.
- Fire Demon: shoots fireballs at monsters
- TNT Demon: also shoots fireballs at monsters
- Snow Demon: throws snowballs at monsters
- Light Demon: fires Shulker projectiles at monsters
- Dark Demon: shoots arrows at monsters
These new mobs spawn in plains biomes, and you can tame them using carrots, beetroots, or potatoes.
- iOS / Android: Hold any of the items mentioned above, then long-press on the Demon and click the “Tame” button.
- Windows 10: Right-click on the demon while holding any of the items to attempt to tame it.
All demons are hostile towards other monsters in your Minecraft world. Here, you can see two tamed Demons assisting the player in defeating a spider.
Make sure to take good care of them and avoid sending them on overly dangerous missions. They cannot be healed with food and have limited health.
