Friendly Creeper Mod is a highly beneficial modification as it transforms creepers in the Minecraft Pocket Edition world into more peaceful and friendly entities. However, things are not as straightforward as they may seem!
The modified creeper will sport an almost entirely new skin (design). Its behavior will also be altered — it won’t attack you unprovoked anymore. But once you engage it in combat or resist, it reverts to its usual aggressive nature. The creeper then unleashes powerful attacks on you — explosions that can be quite challenging to withstand!
This mod is compatible with Minecraft PE 0.16.0+ on Android, iOS, and Windows 10 Edition.
How Does It Work?
The friendly creepers carry backpacks filled with dynamite. They have a cheerful appearance — complete with a smile and a hat. These creepers will only attack if you attempt to strike them first. In such cases, it’s best to flee, as they won’t spare your life. Compared to regular creepers in Minecraft Pocket Edition, these ones are slightly stronger and faster.
As long as you don’t provoke this creeper, it remains friendly and may even assist you in battling other hostile mobs.
Friendly creepers despise witches. As soon as a friendly creeper spots a witch, it will chase after her and eliminate her with explosions. This is indeed one of the more unpleasant ways to meet your end, but what can you do when a witch seeks your demise while the creeper targets the witch!)
Another type of mob that will also maintain a neutral stance towards you is the Displacer. If the Displacer were clever, it would run away from the creeper, but most of the time, these mobs explode near the creepers.
Installing Friendly Creeper:
- Download the mod.
- Create a folder named «resource_packs» in the directory «games/com.mojang/».
- Extract the mod from the archive and move only the folder from this archive into the «resource_packs» folder.
- Go to settings — global textures.
- Select the downloaded mod.
- The mod is installed — now restart MCPE (this step is essential!)!
