Fully functional coordinates in the Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.2 are implemented through the mod called Coords Unlocker (Coordinates). It has been tested on devices running Windows 10 and Android, and no issues have been reported so far. While there are numerous mods available for coordinates, users have indicated that problems arise with beta versions of MCPE. Therefore, if you need coordinates for version 1.2, the provided mod is the best choice!
How do unlocked coordinates work?
Coordinates (x, y, z) will be displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen. They cannot be disabled by any means other than turning off the resource pack.
Installing Coords Unlocker (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Coords Unlocker (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “coords_unlocker” folder from the archive.
- Move the coords_unlocker folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the add-on that you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder for the selected world.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
