If you enjoy the fantastic shooter “Borderlands” and Minecraft, but can’t decide between the two, or if you’re completely new to the first game, the mod “Borderlands (Пограничье)” is sure to captivate you! A plethora of elements and features borrowed from Borderlands will make your gaming experience even more exciting and varied.
Eridium Crystal.
This is a novel material that naturally spawns across the globe. To break the crystal and obtain the pure iridium, you will need an iridium resonator. Here’s the crafting recipe:
In the center of the grid, there is an iron rod that must be crafted separately:
Iridium.
Blocks of eridium can be crafted into eridium.
Eridium Nuggets.
These nuggets are used to produce eridium fuel, which powers the new vehicle—Hover Craft. To acquire this machine, you must defeat the boss Gigimind. Eridium nuggets can also be recycled back into eridium.

Iridium Key.
This is essential for operating the new aircraft.
Hover Craft.
A new vehicle that autonomously engages hostile mobs while in motion. It features 27 item slots, which you can access by pressing the crouch button and right-clicking on the vehicle (in Minecraft: Pocket Edition, you need to long-press the screen). Additionally, all slots will be accessible when you are inside the vehicle.
Boss Gigimind.
This is the primary antagonist of the expansion. He attacks the player by circling around and summoning his minions—psychos. There is also a chance that he will call forth eridium crystals. Gigimind possesses 400 health points and drops eridium seedlings, which grow into eridium trees.
Psycho.
This is a highly dangerous mob, possessing great speed and a formidable attack; a single hit can eliminate a character. Upon defeat, it typically drops arrows, and occasionally, eridium.
Eridium Seedling.
By utilizing bone meal, you can rapidly cultivate eridium saplings. This tree produces 4 new blocks and leaves that cannot be obtained through other means. The leaves of the eridium tree, in turn, drop sticks, nuggets, and eridium saplings.
Eridium Apple.
The eridium apple is slightly smaller than the golden one. Consuming it grants the player the following effects: regeneration 2 for eight seconds, speed 2 for ten seconds, absorption for eight seconds, resistance for ten seconds, and fire resistance for ten seconds.
Eridium shotgun.
This firearm fires projectiles made of eridium. You must crouch to use it; otherwise, you won’t be able to shoot. The shotgun is made up of two components that need to be crafted separately.

Place 2 eridium in the crafting grid. A crafting table is not required.
Eridium Snowball.
Similar to using a shotgun, you need to crouch to throw the snowball. Upon contact with any surface, it explodes, but the blast radius is not strong enough to break blocks.
Impact Grenade.
To throw a grenade, equip it, crouch down, and then throw it. It launches the target into the air, causing damage not from the explosion itself, but from the fall.
First Aid Kit.
Pick up the first aid kit, sit down, and toss it. It provides a regeneration effect for five seconds to all nearby players.
Installing Borderlands (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into Minecraft.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported options for the world:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-on Packs. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world Minecraft, and enjoy the add-on!
