Balloonable Mobs

Mod “Balloonable Mobs (Airborne Mobs)” requires you to have access to the educational mode, so you need version Minecraft PE 1.2.20 or higher! With this mod, you can attach a balloon to any mob in MCPE. Yes, any mob, from ancient guardians to dolphins. While this mod may not be the most realistic, it is certainly fun to use in Minecraft PE!

How Does It Work?

Make sure you have enabled Education Edition in your Minecraft Pocket Edition world settings for the provided mod to function.

You can obtain a balloon by placing 5 carbon elements and 7 hydrogen elements in the mixture creator to produce latex. Place 3 latex on each side of the crafting table, put helium in the center, and add dye on the top and bottom in the middle.

Use the balloon item on any mob in Minecraft Pocket Edition to make them float into the sky.

Installing Balloonable Mobs (.mcpack)

• Download the mod marked as “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
• Set the imported:
  — Add-on Packs for the world.
• Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing Balloonable Mobs (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract the “Balloonable Mobs Addon” folder from the archive.
• Move the “Balloonable Mobs Addon” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Set the addon you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder for the selected world.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
