Not all players are aware that rubies were originally intended to be included in Minecraft for Android. This was quite some time ago. Ultimately, the developers at Mojang hastily removed them from the game for reasons unknown. However, the creator of the Ruby & Sapphire mod strongly disagrees with the developers – he has reintroduced rubies and even added sapphires.
