Are you frustrated with the slow process of starting a manhunt recording? Worry no longer! Ava’s Manhunt Starter is here to enhance your experience.
Important Reminder!
This is not a Compass Addon
This mod/datapack is designed to be used in conjunction with compass addons and similar tools. Its main goal is to streamline the preparation for recordings, benefiting the consistency of your video, the runner’s peace of mind, and the hunters as well!
Follow These Steps for Optimal Performance
Due to Mojang’s restrictions on certain datapack permissions, it’s essential that you complete the following steps!
- Access your server files.
- Navigate to the “server.properties” file.
- Adjust “function-permission-level=” to at least 3 or 4!
- Restart your server to apply the changes!
Command Functions Explained
- /function manhunt:start_food This command performs several important actions:
Details:
- Sets all player spawnpoints to the coordinates of the executor.
- Cleanses all players and then eliminates them.
- Immediately respawns all players (does not activate doImmediateRespawn).
- Adjusts the time to 250, which is optimal for recordings!
- Switches all players to survival mode.
- Grants all players maximum saturation.
- Reminds players to reset chat using F3 + D.
- Clears the weather conditions.
- Resets all advancements.
- /function manhunt:start_nofood This command functions similarly to manhunt:start_food but does not provide players with saturation. It’s a great option if you prefer a more challenging game.
- /function manhunt:pause This command achieves the following:
Details:
- Sets key player attributes to -1:
- Attack Damage, Attack Speed, Interaction Range, Movement Speed, Jump Strength.
- Prevents players from losing air without utilizing water breathing.
- Halts the game with /tick freeze.
- /function manhunt:pause_notick This command operates similarly to manhunt:pause but does not implement /tick freeze. Though not ideal, it will be your option if server permissions are not enabled.
- /function manhunt:unpause This command restores the settings altered by manhunt:pause.
- /function manhunt:unpause_notick This reverts the changes made by manhunt:pause_notick. It’s important to note that using this method may remove any Resistance effect that players had from items like an Enchanted Golden Apple.
