Assembly Expansion is an innovative mod that enhances theMinecraft experience by introducing new resources, streamlining their extraction and processing, and offering exciting automation features for the first time.
What is Assembly Expansion?
Assembly Expansion is a cutting-edge technology mod currently residing in its early alpha phase. It brings forth new mechanics for resource processing, energy creation, and the foundational elements of automation.
Key Features of the Mod:
- Tin and Lead Ores, along with corresponding plates and dust versions.
- Hevea (Rubber Tree): These trees grow in swampy and jungle biomes, providing a complete wooden set.
- Rubber Harvesting Mechanics: To harvest rubber, locate a rubber tree, use a special knife to cut it down, set a bowl on a lower block (ensuring it’s not aligned with the log), and wait until it’s filled up. Once the latex solidifies, you’ll receive four latex discs, which can then be smelted into rubber.
- Engineer’s Hammer: Crafted from two sticks and two iron ingots, this tool is essential for creating plates.
- Energy and Machinery:
- Electric Furnace: Functions similarly to a traditional furnace but uses 20 FE/t in place of coal or other fuel.
- Generator: Capable of converting energy from nearly any combustible material.
- Crusher: A tool that doubles your ore yields!
- Mechanical Sinterer: Required for the efficient crafting of mossy blocks and steel materials.
- Cables: Currently, only copper cables are available, with a capacity to transmit 128 FE/t. The efficiency of these cables is influenced solely by their speed in energy transmission. They can be insulated using rubber, with the combination of one cable and one rubber creating one insulated cable. Uninsulated cables, if touched, may deliver electric shocks, inflicting damage of 1, 2, or 3 hearts on Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties, respectively. Uninsulated copper cables are crafted from two copper ingots and one piece of redstone, yielding a total of eight cables.
- Additional Components: Includes a Battery that holds up to 2 kFE, and a Circuit (the recipes for upgrades and circuits are yet to be added).
