Angels vs Devils

In Minecraft Pocket Edition, players can encounter demons, angels, and celestial dogs after installing the mod titled Angels vs Devils. These entities represent two opposing forces (good versus evil) and will engage in battles for as long as their teams remain alive. Players in MCPE will naturally align with the angels. However, if you choose to attack an angel, be prepared for them to show you no mercy.

How Does the Angels vs Devils Mod Work?

The mobs will spawn naturally within the Minecraft PE world, as they replace several existing mobs, most of which can be found in the overworld. You can also use spawn eggs to create them in the MCPE environment.

The celestial dog can be utilized similarly to a llama or horse. Once tamed, you can place a totem in the saddle slot to control it.

The dark trader is a neutral mob that you can trade a devil’s head for a Nether shotgun in Minecraft Pocket Edition.

The Nether shotgun is a powerful weapon in these battles, as it can be used from a distance.

Mobs

• Angel (Creeper): Can fly and strike enemies with lightning. Has the ability to spawn small angels (Diminutive). Deals levitation damage.
• Devil (Wither Skeleton): Can fly and shoot explosive projectiles. Creates small devils (Zombie Pigman) that inflict poison damage.
• Celestial Dog (Llama): Ride it to tame (heart particles), then place an Immortality Totem in the saddle slot to ride and jump with it.
• Dark Trader (Witch): Trade a devil’s head for a Nether shotgun.

Installing Angels vs Devils (.mcpack)

• Download the mod labeled as .mcpack below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
• Set the imported options for the world:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Addons.
• Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing Angels vs Devils (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract the two folders from the archive.
• Move the folder angle_BH to /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
• Move the folder angel_RS to /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Set the selected world to use the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
