Steampunk Robot

The mod «Steampunk Robot» introduces two remarkable features in Minecraft PE, which include mounted laser cannons and a powerful robot suit. Both features can be utilized by players in MCPE. The laser cannons are a brilliant addition, marking the first time we see something like this in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition!

How to Install Laser Cannons

The laser cannons replace guardians, and the easiest way to obtain them is from the inventory in creative mode.

Once placed, you will notice they bounce. Simply stand next to them, and they may choose you as their owner, positioning themselves on your shoulders.

The mounted laser cannons automatically detect hostile mobs nearby the player in Minecraft PE and swiftly eliminate them with their laser.

Robot Suit

There is also a steampunk robot suit (replacing the creeper), which can be used as a mount. It can move very quickly and jump quite high, taking no fall damage in MCPE.

It will also perform a stomping attack that deals damage to all mobs within close proximity to the robot in Minecraft Pocket Edition. If it is attacked or has low health, it can also activate a creeper shield.

Installing Steampunk Robot (.mcpack)

• Download the mod labeled as «.mcpack» below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
• Set the imported:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Addons.
• Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing Steampunk Robot (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract the two folders from the archive.
• Move the folder «Robot_BZ» to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
• Move the folder «Robot_TZ» to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
