To be honest, the mountains in Minecraft lack a variety of wildlife. While exploring, it often feels like you’re in barren landscapes. The mod “Mountains++ (Горы)” addresses this issue by introducing new creatures, such as the fire dragon!
This mod does not replace any existing mobs; all newly added animals are independent entities.
Fire Dragon
Fire dragons are astonishingly powerful beings capable of obliterating everything in their path. They can exhibit both calm and aggressive behaviors. A peaceful dragon can be tamed using raw salmon. Beware of the hostile dragon; encountering one gives you a 50% chance of being blown up. Just kidding, it’s actually a 100% chance! To turn it into a friendly creature, you must tame it first. Once tamed, you’ll be able to ride on its back. To saddle a dragon, open your inventory and place a saddle in the first slot, a chest in the second, and any horse armor in the third.
- Health: 200
- Feeds on monsters
Yak
This is a yak. You can tame it just like a donkey. In fact, they are quite similar, which means that donkey armor will also fit the yak.
- Health: 30
- Diet: Grass
Big-Horned Sheep
What do you think a big-horned sheep does? It doesn’t do much at all. This creature simply wanders around and gets distracted by various things. It’s more of an ornament for Minecraft.
- Health: 40
- Diet: Grass
If you’ve forgotten, make sure to enable experimental gameplay.
