Map Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium

Welcome to the map titled “Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium”! This is a world within Minecraft, inspired by an actual zoo located in Tacoma, Washington. Although it spans only 10.9 hectares, there are plenty of fascinating spots to explore throughout its grounds.

Children’s Area. This section is primarily designed for kids. Here, you can find animals such as meerkats, lemurs, and wallabies. Additionally, you have the chance to pet some goats!

Habitat of the Red Wolf.Within this area, there are two enclosures featuring red wolves. You can discover a wealth of fascinating information about these creatures at the Red Wolf Conservation Center.

Arctic Tundra / Rocky Shores.In Minecraft, these regions are home to animals that inhabit areas beyond the Arctic Circle or nearby. The rocky shores host a variety of marine species, including walruses, seals, otters, and puffins. Beyond the Arctic Circle, there is greater biodiversity compared to inland areas, featuring arctic foxes, musk oxen, and the endangered polar bear.

Aquarium of the Pacific Oceans.This is one of the two aquariums located within the zoo. Here, you will encounter a variety of creatures that inhabit the cold waters of the Northwest and Lower California, including hammerhead sharks, green sea turtles, and jellyfish.

Wild Wonders Open Theater.In this theater, daily encounters with various animals take place. The keeper steps onto the stage to share fascinating facts about the animal of the day. One day it might be a sloth, and another day it could be a macaw.

South Pacific Aquarium.This aquarium consists of two buildings, but all the creatures within are from the same region—the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. Here, you can explore the outer reef, lagoon, and ray bay.It boasts the largest area in the zoo Minecraft Bedrock. This space is home to animals and plants from Southeast Asia, including the Anoa lowland regions. You can find siamang gibbons, white-cheeked gibbons, Asian elephants, and Sumatran tigers there.
