Dual Wielding Map (Concept) (Guide) [Creativity]

Dual Wielding is an intriguing feature available in the PC version (or Java Edition) of Minecraft. This map enables you to utilize a similar function for Pocket Edition / Windows 10 Edition (also referred to as Bedrock Edition). Additionally, I have included a brief guide if you’re interested in implementing this in one of your own worlds MCPE. Please note that this feature cannot be used in combat; it functions solely for visual purposes!

How Does It Work?

If you prefer not to delve into the details and just want to use this feature in your world, simply download the pre-configured map.

However, if you’re curious about how to set it up yourself, keep reading.

The first thing you’ll need is an Android device (smartphone/tablet) along with the Blocktograph app. Launch Blocktograph, select your world, and then tap the blue arrow in the upper right corner to view/edit the world.

Next, you will see a map overlay on your world MCPE. Tap the “+” icon in the bottom right corner, then select Singleplayer NBT from the left menu.

Scroll down the list until you find the Offhand option. Edit this section and input the following values:

• Count: 1
• Damage: 7
• ID: 276 (diamond sword; you can enter any ID here)

Make sure to click the save button in the lower right corner to apply your changes.

The next time you open your Minecraft PE world, you’ll notice an additional weapon in your hands. However, it may appear somewhat odd.

This effect looks best when viewed from third-person perspective. It’s important to mention that the second weapon does not function at all, meaning this feature currently lacks practical utility.

Installing the Dual Wielding Map (.mcworld)

• Download the map labeled — “.mcworld” below.
• Open the downloaded file to import the map into MCPE.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, then select the imported world.

Installing the Dual Wielding Map (.zip):

• Download the map.
• Extract the map from the archive.
• Move the map to the path: “/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds”.
• Open Minecraft PE > Play > Select the installed map.
• Enjoy your game!
