This guide is designed for players eager to learn everything about mobs. Here, I will provide information on the cave spider in Minecraft PE
Cave spiders are classified as neutral mobs (they won’t attack unless provoked by a player or another mob).
The cave spider resembles a familiar spider, but there are some notable differences. Cave spiders spawn exclusively from spawners found in abandoned mineshafts. They also move faster than regular spiders.
Cave spiders can pass through webs without getting stuck. Unlike the regular spider, the cave spider has dimensions of 0.7×0.7×0.5, allowing it to fit through 1-block wide passages and half-block high openings.
When bitten by a cave spider, the player will become poisoned. During poisoning, the health bar turns olive green, and the player’s health will gradually decrease over time or until reaching a certain level. The poison from the cave spider is not lethal — it stops when the player has 1 hp (half a heart) remaining. To cure the poison, milk is required.
