Greetings, visitor of PLANET-MCPE. In this series of tutorials, I will be gradually constructing a house while taking screenshots and detailing my actions. I believe this will be quite beneficial for beginners (and perhaps others as well!). We will be building in Minecraft PE.
What did we cover in the previous part?
In this guide, I will begin constructing the second level. Yes, I’ve decided to add a second floor for farming, specifically for melons, pumpkins, and more. So let’s get started. First, we’ll trim the half-blocks around the perimeter:
We also need to remove the stairs:
At what height should we build the second floor? I’ve decided that we need to easily harvest crops on the first floor, so we’ll construct it like this:
Now let’s use some cheats. We will utilize console commands (For more details – Console Commands in Game — 0.16.0+ [Minecraft PE Guides]). Let’s place pillars diagonally at the required height reaching up to the future floor:
Let’s stand on one pillar:
Now we will enter the command /spawnpoint:
We will obtain our first set of coordinates:
Next, we will go to the opposite diagonal pillar and do the same to get the second set of coordinates:
Now things will be slightly different from what you might expect. What coordinates have we obtained?
- 92 69 -230
- 73 69 -210
As usual, we will decrease the second coordinate by 2 units since these are head coordinates when entering the command. Additionally, we will shift the X and Z coordinates closer together by 1 unit each, resulting in:
- 91 67 -229
- 74 67 -211
We will use the command /fill 91 67 -229 74 67 -211 sandstone
And we receive:
You will find out why we did this in the next guide 😉
This concludes Part 58 of the construction. Stay tuned for new parts in the guides section or in a special publication where all guides from our site are collected!
I look forward to your suggestions and ideas in the comments.
