Greetings, visitor of PLANET-MCPE. In this series of guides, I will be gradually constructing a house, taking screenshots and detailing my actions along the way. I believe this will be quite beneficial for beginners (and perhaps others too!). We will be building in Minecraft PE.
What did we cover in the previous part?
In the last installment, I promised to fill the main room to the right of the entrance. That’s what we’ll focus on now; we will create a storage area here. Let’s place some chests and move the windows as shown in the screenshot:
To place the chests higher, you need to set up slabs as illustrated in the screenshot. This way, they will open properly:
Now, to make our storage more functional, let’s add item frames to each chest, where you can optionally place an identifying item. (You can also use signs with labels):
A bit of decoration:
Let’s lay down a carpet and place another chest in the center:
Next, on the other side, we have a hidden door. To fill the space in front of it, let’s furnish the area:
I also find a trash bin next to the storage essential. There’s always something to dispose of. (For more details: Trash Bin [Minecraft PE Guides]) I decided to create a trash bin using chests and hoppers:
This concludes Part 12 of the construction. Stay tuned for new installments in the guides section or in a special publication, where all the guides from our site are compiled!
I look forward to your suggestions and ideas in the comments.
