The small beta update for Minecraft PE 1.20.10.23 introduces a series of tweaks to the game. The changes mainly focus on experimental features and new mechanics. In addition, Mojang has fixed numerous bugs, significantly enhancing the experience within the blocky world.
Improvements to Crawling and Sneaking in Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.20.10.23
The crawling and sneaking mechanics have received updates in Minecraft:
- These actions will no longer activate while on a ladder
- After climbing a ladder, the player character will no longer get stuck
- Camera issues have been resolved
- New enchantments for faster sneaking have been added
- Old mechanics have been fixed to function as intended
- Crawling will not activate while gliding
Additionally, notifications that were displayed when unlocking crafting recipes have been removed. It is also no longer possible to unlock recipes while in spectator mode. Several other bugs have also been fixed in Minecraft BE:
- Fixed issues with capes
- Improved connections to services
- Enhanced mouse and controller compatibility
- Resolved issues with multiple mouse clicks
- Fixed interactions with pumpkin blocks
- Corrected spawning behavior for mooshrooms
- Adjusted light levels from sea lanterns
- Prevented crafting barrels from sticks
- Fixed issues with powdered snow
- Improved bookshelf sound effects
- Resolved issues with the in-game cursor
- Fixed time display using the /time query command
