The previous beta, as usual, was quite unstable. This is why Mojang took action and released a new test version Minecraft 1.16.220.51, which you can download from our website.

What’s New in Minecraft PE 1.16.220.51

The latest Minecraft PE 1.16.220.51 includes a few fixes:

• resolved issues with the sounds of powder snow;
• fixed problems with extinguishing fire using that same snow;
• removed the “powdered” snow block from creative mode;
• made adjustments for tridents with drowned mobs in Minecraft BE;
• activated the “find friends” button on X-Box;
• implemented a fix for keyboard and mouse in Minecraft for Windows 10 – the issue was related to vertical synchronization;
• once again fixed the screen reader.

Additionally, Minecraft 1.16.220.51 for Android features several technical improvements:

• renamed certain items;
• made enhancements to the GameTest mode;
• we have implemented several fixes suitable for mod developers.
