An update featuring experimental gameplay for Minecraft 1.9.0.2 has been released for Android. During the experimental gameplay, Realm will not be accessible, and the final version of 1.9 may differ from 1.9.0.2.

• A cartographer’s table has been added.
• Fletching table.
• A grindstone has been introduced in Minecraft PE 1.9.0.2.
• A bell.
  
• A barrel.
• A lantern.
• A furnace.
• A series of smoking blocks.

This beta version has introduced several features that enhance the gameplay experience in Minecraft:

• Cauldrons can now be filled with lava.
• New custom tags have been added for players and objects in MCPE 1.9.0.2.
• A “has_tag” filter has been implemented in components to check if an object has a specified tag.
• Auto-completion for tags has been introduced.
• The number of commands in Minecraft 1.9.0.2 for Android, triggered through functions, may be limited by a new game rule (default 10k) to manage performance.
• A new feedback button in the pause menu allows access to the Minecraft website, MoJira, and Mojang support.
• The “Play” button is now visible in the game settings menu.
• The text color in Minecraft has been changed to black.
• Players can now join worlds with slight version differences in Minecraft.

Bug fixes in Minecraft have become a tradition and a hallmark of the game’s quality:

• The Shulker box has been fixed.
  
• Item display issues in Minecraft server shops have been resolved.
• The head size of baby zombies has been corrected.
• Numerous game crashes related to various in-game actions have been addressed.
• Error messages have been fixed.
• The positioning of snow golem’s arms has been corrected.
• Pandas will stop eating when they are on fire.
• Endermen now emit a piercing scream in MCPE 1.9.0.2.
• Phantoms now drop membranes correctly upon death.
• Automatic jumping now activates when passing through scaffolding.
• Even more blocks can be placed on scaffolding in version 1.9.0.2 for Android.
• Horizontal flowing water will no longer turn into bubble columns above soul sand.
• Fixed a crash in Minecraft 1.9.0 when resuming the game.
• Resolved a potential crash when quickly entering/exiting Xbox Live.
• Animations and sounds can now be heard and seen when pillagers load their crossbows.
• Special characters are now displayed correctly when using the “/ say” command.
• Touch control issues have been fixed.
• Particles created by witches are now purple instead of black in Minecraft 1.9.0.2.
• Mobs in boats no longer jitter when trying to turn to face the player.
• Bubbles no longer spread above water.
• Changing game modes and restarting Minecraft 1.9.0 no longer removes resource packs.
