Initially, there were rumors about the release of version 1.3, which seemingly will not see the light of day. Therefore, everyone can now download Minecraft 1.4 for Android. The new version features a substantial aquatic update, along with an extensive list of fixes and improvements.

Several types of seaweed have been introduced.

Corals and coral blocks have been added.

Blue ice blocks are now available!

A new type of wood has been introduced.

Minecraft 1.4.0.5 has been updated with prismarine stairs and slabs.

New achievements have been introduced: Atlantis (20G), Ahoy! (20G), Castaway (20G), I’m Golden! (30G), Alternative Fuel (20G), Sail the Seven Seas (40G), Dreaming with Fish (30G), I’m a Marine Biologist (20G).

An inventory section has been added to the Store for managing all purchased content.

Sorting and filtering options have been implemented in the Store.

Experimental Gameplay in Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.4.0.5

Several features from the Update Aquatic have been incorporated into Experimental Gameplay. The developers remind players that this is not the final version and that the experimental gameplay is still in development, but it is available for testing in Minecraft 1.4 on Android. You can enable it in the game settings under “World Settings.” Since this mode may disrupt your world, it will be automatically saved. The new gameplay includes drowned mobs and pearls.
