The latest Minecraft Bedrock Edition update, version 1.21.51, is now available. This release focuses on resolving several issues identified in version 1.21.50 and introduces a revamped Play Screen for an improved gaming experience.
Bug Fixes and Features
General Improvements
- Resolved multiple crashes that occurred during gameplay.
- Fixed an issue where some shaped crafting recipes were not parsed correctly.
- Addressed a problem with legacy data-driven blocks not applying the correct render layer from the material instances component.
World Generation
- Creaking Hearts now spawn more frequently in naturally generated Pale Oak biomes. (Bug Reference: MCPE-187337)
Updated Play Screen
The Play Screen has undergone a major overhaul, making it more user-friendly and feature-rich. Here’s what’s new:
- Worlds Tab: Quickly access your saved local and LAN worlds.
- Realms Tab: Effortlessly jump into Realms you own or are part of.
- Servers Tab: Connect to featured multiplayer servers from partners or your custom servers.
- Create from Template: Explore, create, and rate templates from Minecraft creators.
- Friends Section: Easily connect with your Minecraft friends via the new location in the top-right corner of the screen.

Known Issue
- When playing Hardcore worlds on a Realm, the world tag currently displays “Survival” instead of “Hardcore.” The team is actively working on resolving this issue.
