The update Minecraft 1.16.0.59 for Android primarily addressed issues related to mobs, gameplay, world generation, and graphics. Among the fixes was a resolution for crashes that occurred when attempting to combine different types of slabs.

Key Fixes:

• The loading screen tips no longer include quotation marks.
• The “Change Emote” button is now available in Minecraft on Android.
• The letter “p” in the music disc “Pigstep” is now capitalized.

• Fire charges can now be found in the chests of ruined portals.
• Ruined portals will now appear less frequently in MCPE 1.16.
• Piglins and Hoglins now spawn eggs similarly to Java Edition.
• Piglins’ arms now swing while walking as intended.

• Fire can now be extinguished by rain.

Mob Fixes:

• Fixed the rotation of hoglins.
• A bug in the `MeleeAttackGoal` has been fixed, which prevented mobs from attacking while in a boat or minecart.

• Gold armor can once again be properly equipped on pigs.
• Zombie piglins are now immune to fire.

• Mobs are now correctly outfitted with netherite armor.

• Endermen can now spawn in the Soul Sand Valley biome.
