In this biome, you will find yourself in the Mega Taiga. Why is it called Mega Taiga instead of just Taiga? – Because this area boasts over a thousand towering coniferous trees, and here, you won’t encounter regular grass; the ground is covered with podzol. Podzol resembles both grass and mycelium. When broken, it only drops dirt, and to obtain the block itself, you’ll need a tool enchanted with “Silk Touch.” Various fungi, tall grass, ferns, and dry bushes can grow on it. Unlike grass and mycelium, podzol does not spread to adjacent dirt blocks.
Upon entering the world, you’ll be greeted by a stunning view like this:
As you delve deeper into the forest, you’ll discover an array of impressive hill formations and much more.
Additionally, the taiga is home to an astonishing variety of mushrooms.
The wildlife in this region is also abundant. In this biome, you will encounter plenty of animals for sustenance.
